Jiangsu Agrochem Laboratory Co., Ltd., established in Apr 1999, located in National High-tech Industrial Development Zone of Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, is the Provincial Engineering Center as well as Provincial Hi-tech Enterprise approved by the Provincial Council of Science and Technology. It's been listed as development base of herbicides with high efficiency by Ministry of Science and Technology of P.R.C. It's also been honored as provincial postal doctoral technology innovation Center, provincial enterprise technology center, provincial model base of pharmaceuticals, pesticides and veterinary drugs, provincial lab to public and municipal pilot center of innovation enterprises.
JAL is focusing on the R&D, engineering transformation, production and operation of environmental-friendly pesticides. There are 120 technology talents including 7 doctors, over 40 graduates, 70 more undergraduates and 8 senior engineers. More than 90% of those have rich experiences of professional design and researches. There are completed and comprehensive research platform equipped with advanced facilities such as 1 set of 500m Hz NMR, 2 sets of GC-MS and LC-MS respectively, 1 set of FT-IR, 25 sets of HPLC, 10 sets of GC, etc. JAL has a comprehensive library with 200,000 copies of professional journals such as American Chemical Abstracts and a variety of electronic databases, and can independently complete the main research work of new varieties. The physical and chemical laboratory established by JAL in accordance with the OECD GLP guidelines obtained the OECD GLP certificate in 2014. The scope of certification is physical and chemical property testing and full-component analysis. In 2018, the laboratory obtained the first batch of pesticide registration test unit qualifications from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
JAL has successively completed 4 major national scientific and technological research projects during the Ninth Five-Year Plan and the Tenth Five-Year Plan, 2 Sino-Russian International Cooperation Projects, 1 Longcheng Talent Project, 1 Chinese Postdoctoral Special Funding, and 4 Chinese Postdoctoral Funding Projects, 5 post-doctoral projects in Jiangsu Province, 4 post-doctoral research grants in Jiangsu Province, 12 other provincial and ministerial projects; Successively undertook 12 post-doctoral research projects with Zhejiang University, Wuhan University, Nanjing Agricultural University, Jiangsu University, Yangzhou University, Suzhou University and other universities; won 2 provincial scientific and technological progress awards and 29 provincial and municipal scientific and technological achievements appraisal. JAL applied for 103 patents including 63 domestic invention patents and 2 foreign patents; 29 provincial high-tech products and 57 municipal products have been certified.
